For one or two people with light bags, a taxi app usually costs less than our sedan. A booked transfer is worth it for a family or a group sharing one car, for a lot of luggage, and for night arrivals, when nobody wants to start looking for a car after the flight.
From TBS to your hotel
Tbilisi airport to the city center
Tbilisi International Airport is about 17 kilometres south-east of the city center. The drive to Freedom Square, Rustaveli Avenue or the Old Town takes 20 to 35 minutes: quicker late at night, slower at weekday rush hour.
Some streets in the Old Town are steep, narrow or for pedestrians only. Send the exact address and a map pin, and the driver will get you as close to the door as the street allows.
Tbilisi airport taxi, bus 337 or private transfer
There are three usual ways from the airport into Tbilisi. Which one suits you depends on when you land, how much you carry and how many of you there are.

The bus is the cheapest way into the city, but it stops often and has little room for big suitcases. Check the first and last departures on the Tbilisi airport website before you fly.
Meeting your driver
Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a sign showing your name. Many international flights land in Tbilisi late at night or early in the morning; the car is arranged for your landing time, so there is nothing to sort out after a long flight. If anything changes on the day, message us on WhatsApp.
Delays and waiting time
